    This paper invites an analysis (thesis driven and argued) of a theoretical or applied problem in ethics. It should be 4-6 pages. Further instructions about the topic will be given in class. Submit with pseudonyms.

    During the final week of the term, you will be asked to write two short essays (600-800 words each) on central course themes. Open book and open note. Do not put your name on the document or file name.

    Journal entries allow informal reflection on topics related to course material. Each entry should be 600-800 words. Journals must be completed by April 15. (3 entries for 5% or 6 for 10%)/ No need for anonymity on this assignment. Important: Turn journals in one at a time and wait for my reply. This allows more of an exchange.

    This is a standard paper (thesis driven and argued) in applied ethics in which you critically discuss an ethical problem, ideally presenting a a position. It should be 4-6 pages. You may use your real name on this assignment.

    We'll use this assignment for a variety of small exercises from quizes to group writing exercises, to short paragraph responses. With objective quizes you will use your name, but with Q&W writing exercises you will use a pseudonym.
